the dare
oh god, i did something so stupid at work today.......... i had half a glass of alcohol, and i so regret it now, here is how it happened;-
When i went to work today most of the filing had been done, adam finished typing his referal letters, and did the prescriptions, the surgery was really quiet, Dr peters and the nurse went to their rooms to do some paperwork, so it was only me and adam in the main reception area.
There was nothing much for us to do, so we were just chatting and joking around, until my eyes caught the attention of the bottles of champaign, that had been left over from xmas.
Both me and adam have strong beliefs against drinking alcohol, so i don't know what made me dare Adam to have a try and he said "No" and dared me back to try it, i also said "No", and then he goes to me " i thought you don't turn down dares?" and i said i don't, so after debating about it, we both decided to try it together.
So Adam poured equal amounts of champaign into two glasses, we gave each other a nervous look and gulped down the drink, it felt warm against my throat, but it tasted better than i expected it to.
After that me and Adam just looked at each other, kinda amazed at what we had done, and we swore to each other that we would keep this secret between ourselves and would'nt tell anybody.
