staff meeting
Gosh, we had the staff meeting today and it went pretty bad.
when i went to work, drew and amar were both there, and i chatted to them, then karen came down, and told us to come up for the meeting.
when we went up, there were no chairs to sit on, so we had to get them from the waiting room, when i got my chair i put it next to drew's which was near the door, but the dr's told me to sit in the middle of the room.
The meeting started with how:
staff shoud come on time
filing is not done properly
dr's are'nt getting the right patient notes
staff are not following the washing up rota
e.t.c.
Adam came 15mins into the meeting and had to sit next to drew, i wanted to laugh, so bad but i controlled myself.
Karen read out the agenda, whoever registers a new patient has to sign the back so we know who made the folder.
The third thing on the Agenda, was the thing we'd all been waiting for- The adam and sam rumour.
Dr peters said that there was a rumour going on about certain people liking each other and that these type of rumours should be kept out of the surgery, coz they cause problems between staff and gives the surgery a bad reputation.
Then the dr's were saying how each person has a specific responsibility:
i do the green bag
adam does the referal letters
amar deals with the emis system/anti-natal bookings
At this point drew got upset, because he felt that he had no major responsibilities and an argument erupted between dr randell and drew which was pretty bad, it even got to the point, that drew said that he's gonna leave the job.
I don't want drew to leace, coz i'd miss him too much.
Adam did'nt say one word in the meeting, he just sat there staring at the floor.
After the meeting we all came down except for adam, and when he did come down he did'nt even say hi to anyone, not even me, but after drew and amar left, he came over and said hi to me, he even did all the filing, i told him that i'll do it, but he insisted, he also did all the prescriptions, so like yesterday there was'nt much to do, we did'nt even get up to any mischeif, coz both of the dr's were around.
Karen asked adam to type the minutes of the meeting, but he just blanked her, so she went and told the doctor'z,, later they all went upstairs to chat, while i was downstairs.
A few minutes later anna came, we chatted for abit then, adam came down, in a huff, i could tell coz he did'nt even say hi to anna, he collected somert and went back upstairs.
I finished work at 4.20pm 20 mins late, coz i was just chatting to anna, she's leaving the job next week, coz she's going to bath for a couple of months as part of her uni course.
Mark sent me a message last nite, just saying a hi, how r you kind of thing, umm i thought he was going on holiday, but i guess he's still here.
